Superfly、アルバム『WHITE』ジャケットアートワークは顔にペイントするという大胆かつ奇抜なデザイン

約3年ぶりとなる5枚目のオリジナルアルバム『WHITE』を5月27日（水）にリリースするSuperfly。今年の4月でデビューからまる8年が経ち、常に進化してきたSuperflyが今作では「変化」を遂げる！

その「変化」は音源だけではなく、ジャケット写真でも表現されている。アルバムタイトルの『WHITE』さながらに白いウィッグをかぶり、肌も白く塗られた志帆に、様々な色でメイクを施すという、今までにない大胆且つ奇抜なデザインが施されている。

今回のアルバムコンセプトである“今までのSuperflyスタンダードやカラーを一旦フラット（WHITE:白）にした上で、新たな可能性という名の様々な色を塗り重ねていく”というイメージを強く表現したとのこと。撮影は5時間に及んだ撮影において、塗られていく自分の顔を見て志帆は「宇宙だ！！」とひと言。そして、、ジャケット撮影を終えて「《色んな色に染まる》をコンセプトに掲げたアルバム、『WHITE』を約一年間かけて制作してきました。今回楽曲制作に協力していただいた方々の音楽的な才能だけでなく、音楽にかける情熱や想いに触れさせていただき、とても濃厚な楽曲たちを作ることができました。自分自身、想像以上に色んな声色を見つけることができ、歌うこと、表現すること、を純粋に楽しめたアルバムになりました。アートワークでも、ウィッグを被りカラフルなメイクを施すというチャレンジをしました。新しいSuperflyに生まれ変わっていくようで、とても楽しかったです。みなさんにも、ポジティブでカラフルな今のSuperflyを楽しんでいただけたら幸いです。」と語った。

アルバム『WHITE』は大型タイアップ曲を含む、全14曲を収録。また、2月上旬に初のLAレコーディングをした楽曲も2曲収録される。「変化」を遂げたSuperflyの『WHITE』。是非、手に取ってチェックして頂きたい！
