ハルカトミユキ、新曲「COPY」配信＆リリックビデオ公開スタート

2015年1月から12ヶ月連続毎月新曲発表中のハルカトミユキ。名盤との呼び声高いミニアルバ『世界』を引っさげ、6月19日に恵比寿LIQUIDROOMにて、実に7カ月ぶりのワンマンライブを開催した。

「頭でごちゃごちゃ考えるのはもうやめた。体から湧き上がる衝動と感情をそのままライブで表したい」

そんな今年初頭のハルカの宣言を、ハイレベルで体現したそのステージは、今までの棒立ちライブのイメージを払拭する激情とも言える荒々しさと、これまでのハルカトミユキの真骨頂、静寂の叫びとが、見事に同居した素晴らしいライブになった。

この日のハルカは、ミニアルバム『世界』のキーカラーである深紅の衣装に身を包み、凛として美しく、80'sフリークのミユキは、ボーイジョージをイメージしたモヒカンヘアに、やはり深紅のadidasのアスリートスーツ。ハルカがギターを置き、ハンドマイクで踊るように歌われた「嘘ツキ」でのオーディエンスの熱狂は、この曲がハルカトミユキのライブアンセムに育っていく予感に満ち満ちていた。

ライブ本編終了後、オーディエンスのアンコールを受けて登場したのは、会場に映しだされたスクリーン上のハルカトミユキ。2人が映像で、「10/3（土）日比谷野外大音楽堂でのフリーライブ開催」と発表すると、客席からは大きな歓声とどよめきが沸いた。ハルカからの「ひとりひとりは、ただの'ぼっち'だけど、それが3,000人集まったら、もうきっとそれは、ひとりぼっちじゃない何か。3000人に私と、ミユキを加えた3002人のぼっちが、野音に集まって、みんなで星空を見上げよう」というメッセージに会場は温かい完成と拍手に包まれた。

また、ハルカトミユキの2015年第6弾の新曲であるSong#6「COPY」の配信が6月24日よりスタート。サウンド・歌詞共にヘヴィな、ハルミユ原点回帰のUSインディロックサウンド。ハルカからは、FUGAZIの名前がインスピレーションアーティストとして上がっており、ソニック・ユース、ダイナソーを連想させる、泣きの轟音ギターロックナンバーだ。ラブソングの衣を纏い、「♪ダーリン」と呼びかけるハルカの妖艶なヴォーカルパフォーマンスの裏側で、 執拗に繰り返されるのは、相手の気持ちを理解出来ない自分に気づいてしまった衝撃。相手の容貌の意味するところがわからない、コミュニケーションを取れないことに対する恐怖だ。

楽曲配信とともにリリックビデオも公開されており、二分割された画面の中で、音源の通り、2本のギターが左右に完全に振られているが、左右のシンメトリックが絶妙にずれている世界＝COPYが成立していない世界。シンメがグニャグニャとずれていく画面は、精神的にヘヴィになるものの、完奏した時の安堵感と焦燥感がクセになる1本だ。

さらに、ハルカトミユキがミュージシャン、クリエイター御用達の名作カメラ、リコーの「GRII」のカタログとポスターに起用された。デジタルカメラ「GRII」の新作は、リコーイメージング株式会社より、7月17日に新発売される。全世界で配布されるこの冊子の、表紙と中面に登場しているので、ぜひチェックしてほしい。
