bloodthirsty butchers、関連映画二本立て上映＆メンバーによる2マンライヴ開催を発表

bloodthirsty butchersが関連映画2作品の二本立て上映と、同バンドメンバーである“射守矢雄と平松学”と2人組ユニット“SOSITE”による2マンライヴをブッチャーズの出身地である北海道・留萌市にて10月12日（月・祝）に行なうことを発表した。

上映される2本の映画の一本目は2011年に全国劇場公開された川口潤監督によるブッチャーズのドキュメンタリー映画『kocorono』。ブッチャーズの歴史を交えつつ、バンドという共同体の"今を生き抜く"姿を鮮烈に映し出し、そのあまりにも生々し過ぎる内容で話題となった音楽ドキュメンタリーだ。劇中にはメンバーの出身地である留萌の風景も大きくフィーチャーされている。

そして、二本目は今年の5月27日から公開され、現在各地で絶賛爆裂上映中の『狂い咲きサンダーロード』や『爆裂都市BURST CITY』の石井岳龍監督（ex石井聰亙）最新作『ソレダケ/that's it』。ブッチャーズのリーダー・吉村秀樹と石井監督によるコラボ企画に端を発した映画で、染谷将太、水野絵梨奈、渋川清彦、村上淳、綾野剛という豪華キャストが出演し、全篇にブッチャーズの音楽が使われている爆音疾走映画となっている。これらブッチャーズ関連映画の上映は、昭和53年に姿を消して以降映画館の無い留萌市において今まで実現していなかったが、今回、満を持して留萌市文化センターにて初めて上映される事となる。

また、この上映を記念してブッチャーズのベーシスト、射守矢雄が率いるバンド、射守矢雄と平松学、そしてブッチャーズのドラマー・小松正宏が参加している“SOSITE”の2バンドが留萌のライヴハウスNEW PORTでライヴを行なう事が決定。共に留萌出身である射守矢雄と小松正宏だが、留萌でライヴを行なうのは相当に久々という、いわば凱旋ライヴといえる。気になる方はこちらも是非チェックを。
