LOUDNESS、ニコ生特番にて国内外ビッグアーティスト達からの祝福コメントを放送

LOUDNESSの世界進出アルバム『THUNDER IN THE EAST』の発売30周年を記念したアニバーサリーアルバムが11月25日に発売されることを祝し、ニコニコ生放送にて11月7日（土）の午後3時から深夜1時まで10時間特番が放映される。

この10時間特番は、LOUDNESSがデビューした1981年から『THUNDER IN THE EAST』を経て1987年の『HURRICANE EYES』リリースまでの7年間までのハイライトを音源・ライブ映像の数々で振り返りながら、11月25日に発売される『THUNDER IN THE EAST 30th Anniversary Edition』収録の1985年当時の全米ツアー密着未公開映像、ライブ未公開映像、未発表音源等がどこよりも早く初公開するという内容が注目を集めているが、もうひとつの注目ポイントとして、LOUDNESSにリスペクトの意を表明する国内外の大物アーティストによるコメントの数々が一挙初公開されることもアナウンスされていた。そしてこの度、その10時間特番の中で映像コメントを寄せているアーティスト名が公開された。

以前よりファンを公言してきたB'zの稲葉浩志、30年来ジャパニーズメタルシーンをともに牽引してきた同志とも言える浜田麻里をはじめ、ファーストアルバムからすべてアルバムを買ってきたという斉藤和義、ラウドネス海外進出後の日本のメタルシーンを支えてきた聖飢魔II、意外にもメンバー全員がLOUDNESSに大きな影響を受けたというスピッツら日本の音楽シーンを支える大物アーティストたちと、代表曲「CRAZY NIGHTS」の秀逸なカヴァーをレコーディングしたこともあるチルドレン・オブ・ボドムのアレキシ・ライホやオジー・オズボーン・バンドに在籍したことで知られるジェイク・E・リー、日本で絶大な人気を誇るアーチ・エネミーら世界のメタルシーンの中心人物たちが、『THUNDER IN THE EAST』30周年を迎えたLOUDNESSに向けて様々なエピソードを披露している。

日本と海外それぞれの第一線で活躍している上記アーティスト達が、LOUDNESSからどのような影響を受けたのか。また国境やジャンルを越えた多数のスーパーアーティスト達に影響を与えているLOUDNESSの魅力とは、一体何なのか。それらをいろいろな面から知ることが出来るこの番組、やはり全音楽ファンが見逃せない内容となるだろう。その他、番組内でいくつかの発表もあるそうなので、楽しみに待とう。
