ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION、シングルとミュージッククリップ集を年明けにリリース

海外ツアーを成功させ、勢いが止まらないASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATIONが年明けの2016年1月6日、ニューシングルとミュージッククリップ集をリリースする。

ヨーロッパや中南米の7都市を回る海外ツアーを成功させたばかりのASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION。"ラウド"を標榜してロサンゼルスでレコーディングされた傑作アルバム『Wonder Future』後、早くもタイアップシングル「Right Now」のリリースが発表された。

『GO』『世界の中心で、愛をさけぶ』などで知られる行定勲監督の最新作映画『ピンクとグレー』のために書き下ろされた「Right Now」は、ラウド路線は継続しながら「これぞアジカン！」なエモーションが注ぎ込まれた抜けの良い楽曲となっている。カップリングには全国30ヶ所を回った『Tour 2015「Wonder Future」』より厳選されたライヴ音源3曲が収録される。

そして、『マジックディスク』以降、最新作『Wonder Future』までのミュージッククリップ13作品を網羅した『映像作品集11巻』も同日にリリースすることが発表された。本編にはメンバーによる副音声、更に特典映像として貴重映像満載のメイキング集も収録された豪華盤となっている。

また、今回の発表に併せてジャケット写真も公開されている。「Right Now」は映画『ピンクとグレー』と連動した2色構成となっており、パッケージは盤面が透けてみえる特殊仕様となっている。一方、『映像作品集11巻』のジャケットは中村佑介のイラストをコラージュした作品だ。

いよいよ2016年、バンド結成20周年イヤーを迎えるアジカン。ロックバンドとして確固たる地位を築いた彼らがどのような攻め方をするのか、今後の動向も是非チェックして欲しい。
