再発した悪性リンパ腫と戦いながら、夢見た恵比寿リキッドルームのワンマンへ向け、魂を燃やし続けているSynk;yetの栞。彼の声を、ここに届けよう。

現在、シングル『悦楽の底へ産み落とされし大罪のワルツ』を手に、11大都市単独公演「悦楽の底へ産み落とされし大罪のワルツ」を実施中のSynk;yet。同ツアーのファイナルは、5月3日の恵比寿リキッドルームが決定している。メンバーは、その日の会場へ一生忘れたくない景色を描き出すため、日々精力的に活動している。中でもリーダーの栞は、みずからの病と必死に戦いながら、現在行っているツアーを完遂することを。そして、ファイナルの会場で、大勢のファンたちと笑顔を分かち合うことを心の糧に、"今"を悔いのないよう一生懸命に生きている。

ご存じの方もいるかと思うが、栞は現在、悪性リンパ腫(結節硬化型ホジキンリンパ腫)の治療を続けながらSynk;yetのメンバーとして休むことなく活動を続けている。
じつはこの病気、一度は手術を通して克服していたが、病気は栞の身体を闇の隠れて蝕み、ふたたび栞の身体へ襲いかかった。このことを栞は、みずからのブログでも報告(詳しくは http://ameblo.jp/synkyet-shiori/entry-12099061768.html へ)。あの日の発表から、今も、彼は「夢」を糧に病と戦い続けている。

本当なら苦しいだろうに、みずからの病床さえ表に出すことなく活動し続けている栞。その姿を身近で見続けてきた仲間たちが、4月12日に高田馬場AREAを舞台に「Synk;yet 栞-shiori-癌闘病制圧チャリティーイベント」を企画した。出演するのは、Synk;yet/Misaruka/メディーナ/MALISEND/シビレバシル/SHAPE SHIFTER/ LiPS/アヴァンチックという面々。

このイベントをサポートしているStarwave Recordsの代表のKiwamu氏からメッセージが届いた。
「今回のイベントはいつもお世話になっているCure編集部の方とお話する機会があって栞の話をさせてもらったのですが、その時に是非協力したいと言っていただいてチャリティーイベントをCure V-splashでやっていただける事になりました。イベントの売上げは栞のご両親に病気の治療費として全額お渡しする事になっています。沢山の方の協力がありこのようなイベントを開催していただける事になり本当に感謝しています。」(Kiwamu)

今回、あえてこういう形を取りながら、改めて栞の病状も告知。本人も現状について「 現在は比較的弱い抗がん剤を使いながらライブ活動をしつつ、完治を目指しています。 副作用ももちろんありますが、ライブやリリースを通して、ファンの方々の笑顔を見ることが出来るのが、唯一の救いになっています。 本来であれば、しっかり治療に専念するべきという意見も多いと思います。 しかし、、一度きりの人生を悔いなく、送りたいというのが俺の本心です。 今の体調や状況で自分自身どこまで活動できるかどうかはまだ分かりませんが、 俺は行けるところまでやり続けるつもりでいるので、応援よろしくお願いします。 また、同じく悪性リンパ腫で苦しんでいる患者さんたちにバンド活動を通して、少しでも希望や勇気を与えられればと思っています。」(栞)と答えてくれた。みずから病気を宣言することで、その行為が、いろんな人たちの生きる勇気や糧に繋がるなら。その心意気が、少しでも多くの人たちの元に届くことを願いたい。
