THE EGOIST、熱狂に包まれたワンマンライブの会場で新たな動きを発表。6月に1stシングル『RED ACHE』を発売!!

THE EGOISTが3月26日(土)にHOLIDAY SHINJUKUを舞台に行った「THE EGOIST新衣装初披露 単独公演"Illuminati"」。冠通り、この日は新しい衣装に身を包んだ姿で彼らはライブを行った。

ともに熱狂を分かち合いたくてうずうずしていた観客たちと一緒に、この日もTHE EGOISTは場内に、体力の限界まで共にイキきるほどの暴れゆく風景を描き出していた。ただ暴れるのではない。どの楽曲でも緩急生かしながら、泣きや刹那な表情を携えたサビ歌で心を揺らしながら、それ以外のパートでは激烈なリフと爆走したビートを武器に、気持ちを熱く滾らせ続けていた。

この日のワンマン公演で、THE EGOISTから嬉しい発表が成された。それが、『RED ACHE』のリリースだ。THE EGOISTとしては初となるシングル『RED ACHE』を6月15日(水)に発売する。この作品についてメンバーは「今のTHE EGOISTを代表する曲として書き上げました。「人は何故見た事も触れた事も無いはずの『心』というものに痛みを感じそれを認識する必要があるのか」という部分を深く歌っています。」とコメントも寄せてくれた。とても情熱的な。同時に沸き上がる衝動を投影した激しさも内包、新しいTHE EGOISTの魅力を打ち出した楽曲として『RED ACHE』は 完成している。

　5月からは「Evoke= 衝動 =～from darkling Egoism～Tokami/Fixer & THE EGOIST カップリングツアー」と題した、熱狂に溺れたくなるツアーも決定。他にも、Ains PRESENTS「Dark in the dark」シリーズへの出演。6月にはCROW MUSIC主催のNEW SCREAM 東浜名大TOURと、この後も数多くのライブが組み込まれている。まずはライブへ足を運び、共に熱狂を味わい、その上でTHE EGOISTに惚れてくれ。
