ROLLY、70年代の日本のロックを再トリビュート！

その風貌やキャラクターからミュージシャンの枠を超え、ジャンルレスなパフォーマンスでお馴染みのROLLY。そんな彼が8月10日にニューアルバムをリリースすることがわかった。

すかんち名義による1990年のデビューシングル「恋のT.K.O.」リリースから、昨年で25年。ROLLY自らが愛して止まない70年代ジャパニーズロックのトリビュートアルバム『ROLLY'S ROCK CIRCUS～70年代の日本のロックがROLLYに与えた偉大なる影響とその影と光～』を昨年リリースし、熱狂的なロックファンたちを沸かせた彼が、再び同コンセプトでのニューアルバムを発表する。

タイトルは『ROLLY'S ROCK THEATER～70年代の日本のロックがROLLYに与えた偉大なる影響とその光と影～』に決定。今作は新たに、世良公則が率いたツイストや、原田真二、RCサクセション、チューリップらのカヴァーが収録されるなど、前作以上に幅広いラインナップとなっている。また、ROLLYファン待望の新曲「1978」も収録ということで、俄然期待が高まる。

同時に、リリース後のツアー情報も発表。10月15日（土）の大阪・心斎橋JANUSを皮切りに、10月16日（日）名古屋・TOKUZO、10月18日（火）東京・渋谷CLUB QUATTROとなっている。また、8月には東名阪でトークライヴ＆サイン会も開催されるので、ぜひ足を運んでみてほしい。
