ハルカトミユキ、新曲「DRAG & HUG」先行配信決定＆フルMV解禁

ハルカトミユキの2作目となるフルアルバム『LOVELESS/ARTLESS』から、キャリア史上ダントツで最速のロックナンバー「DRAG & HUG」の先行配信が8月3日に決定し、それに伴い同曲のフルMVを公開した。

ミユキ作曲・ハルカ作詞の共作曲となる「DRAG & HUG」は、今のミユキが作り得る最速テンポに、ハルカのお得意とも言える潔く強い言葉が乗り、ライブでの盛り上がりを彷彿させる爽快な1曲になったという。MVの監督を務めたのは、ロックものでは今ダントツに定評を集めるイケダケイ氏。短いカットに独特の演出が冴えわたる、エレキを持って歌うハルカを全面にフィーチャーした作品に仕上がっている。

ハルカはこの曲について「"引きずれ！そして抱きしめろ！"というのは何ともこの、情けない人生というものを表していて、と言うか、そうするより他にどうもできない滑稽さをそのまま書いてしまえと思い、書いた。せめて少し格好つけて。」と語っている。

また昨年10月の日比谷野音フリーライブで発表され、昨年末より続いているツアーの後半戦の日程が発表された。「ハルカのひとり旅」と「真夏の弾き語り旅」シリーズで、7月末から8月にかけ、九州～神戸～関東甲信越をまわる。これでほぼ大半が発表となり、いよいよ9月24日に迫った1年越しの日比谷野音でのツアーファイナルへ向けて全貌が見えてきた。全国を細かく回り着々と実力をつけてきた2人は、9月の東名阪バンドワンマンでツアーを締め括る。先週末よりチケットの一般発売が開始となっているので、旅の終着点を絶対に見逃さないでほしい。

さらに先日オープンとなったアルバムのスペシャルサイトでは、ハルカとミユキの"大切な方々"からのコメントを公開中。作家の樋口毅宏氏、映画音楽家で次作の朝ドラの劇中音楽を手掛けることが決まっているsébuhiroko氏、ハルカ憧れのボーカリストであるTHE BACK HORNのVo.山田将司氏など、本人たちと交流のあるミュージシャンや作家、ライターなど、音楽ファンから信頼の厚い面々のコメントが連なっている。ちなみに、7月25日にアップされたのは、ミユキが唯一プライベートでの親交が深いという、ミュージシャンの345（凛として時雨/sleep geek sheep）だ。是非チェックしてみてほしい。
