Brian the Sun、東京初ワンマンの地で大盛況のワンマンライブ！

大阪出身の4人組ロックバンドBrian the Sunが8月24日、東京・渋谷club乙-kinoto-にて4年ぶりにワンマンライブを実施した。この日行われたライブは東京にあるライブハウス渋谷club乙-kinoto-の15周年企画として行われたワンマンライブで、メジャーデビュー後では初のライブとなった。

インディーズ時代の楽曲『君の声』からライブはスタート。「4年前にワンマンライブをしたときは動員が110人で、チケットが売り切れず悔しかった。でも、今回はSold Outすることができました。ありがとうございます！」とベースの白山が話すと、ボーカル・ギターの森は、「4年前に比べると、ずいぶん穏やかになりました。お客さんに帰れとか暴言を吐かなくなったと思います。それもひとえに皆さんのおかげです。」と当時を振り返る場面もみせた。「当時は東京－大阪間がめっちゃ遠く感じてました。でも、今は東京ももはやホームみたいになってきて、今後は日本全国をホームにしていきたい」と今後への意欲を語り、『ロックロールポップギャング』でこの日のライブを締めくくった。全17曲のパフォーマンスとなった。

9月7日にはメジャー2ndシングルとなる『Maybe』（TVアニメ「甘々と稲妻」EDテーマ）が発売となり、10月28日からは対バンツアーもスタートさせるBrian the Sun。今後も注目の存在となりそうだ。
