METROPOLIS、最新シングル『METRO GIRL/SU♡KI♡NA♡NO』を発売!!

2014年にサイバーシティTOKYOへ降臨。JK/JC/JSのメンバーが集まりアイドルシーンで活動を続けているサイバーテクノアイドルユニットのMETROPOLIS。彼女たちが、 12月27日に最新シングル『METROGIRL/S SU♡KI♡NA♡NO』を発売する。
　表題曲の『METRO GIRL』は、ライブを通したメンバーとファンたちの熱い絆で結ばれた関係性を歌った、キラキラ輝くポップでチャーミングなサイバーポップソング。メンバー自身の気持ちを代弁した歌詞からは、普段の彼女たちの心模様が伝わってくる。
胸をキュンキュン弾ませるポップでキュートな『SU♡KI♡NA♡NO』は、恋する乙女の心模様をドキドキ感満載で綴った、メンバーたちからのラブレターのような歌。途中には、触れた人たちのハートをドキュンと疼かせるセリフ風の歌も登場。

METROPOLISの新たな面を描き出したこの2曲は、彼女たちの未来の方向性も示唆している。
　メンバーは、この2曲に対し「『METRO GIRL』も『SU♡KI♡NA♡NO』も、これまでのMETROPOLISにはなかった、可愛らしくて乙女チックで、お客さんたちと一緒に動いて楽しめる曲です。『METRO GIRL』に「キャリーに詰め込むファンタジー」という歌詞が出てくるんですけど、みんなで過ごしたいろんな想い出を一つの箱に詰め込んでいる感じがして、そこの歌詞が私は大好きです」(叶原じゅみ)。「『SU♡KI♡NA♡NO』はLOVEな言葉がいっぱい出てくる、すっごく可愛らしい歌。しかも、METROPOLISとして初のセリフ入りの歌なんですね。そのセリフを聞いてると、同じメンバーなのにキュンキュンしてきます」(小暮ともか)と語ってくれた。すでにライブでも披露しているように、直接、彼女たちの想いを受け止めていただけたら幸いだ。
