サザンオールスターズ、10年ぶりの全国ツアー、東京ドーム編も大盛況！

大好評のサザンオールスターズ10年ぶりの全国ツアー。その東京ドーム編がいよいよスタートした。

3月31日にニューアルバム『葡萄』が発売となり、オリコンチャート初登場ブッチギリの1位はもちろんのこと、発売5週にわたってトップ3以上をキープし、現在もヒット中で、すでに50万枚にも及ぶ売上を記録！ さすが日本一のロックバンドという風格を見せつけているサザンだが、バンド自体は去る4月11日（土）から10年ぶりとなる全国ツアー「おいしい葡萄の旅」に突入、各地満員御礼の大盛況となっており、すでに愛媛、宮城、広島、新潟、大阪と5ヵ所10公演が終了したところだ。

長いツアーの折り返し地点は、東京ドーム3days。サザンとしての東京ドーム公演は、1999 年の「サザンオールスターズ 1999 Se o no Luja na Quites セオーノ・ルーハ・ナ・キテス～素敵な春の逢瀬～」、そして2005年の「SOUTHERN ALL STARS Live Tour 2005 みんなが好きです！」以来、3度目となる。

会場に詰めかけた50,000人のファンは、開演前からテンションマックス！ “みなさん本日はようこそお越しくださいました 季節は巡り、「希望の苗」（サザン復活のシングルで、『葡萄』にも収録されている「ピースとハイライト」の歌詞に出てくる言葉）から『葡萄』へ、たわわに実ったその一粒一粒を共に味わう旅 さあ出掛けましょう”という字幕がステージ上に映し出されると、大きな拍手が巻き起こる。そして、豊かな実がなった葡萄の樹の映像とともに、サザンのメンバーがステージに現れると、割れんばかりの歓声が沸き起こった。

10年ぶりのライブツアーはボリューム満点で、各地のファンを大満足させている中、この日の東京ドーム公演でも「栞のテーマ」「ボディ・スペシャルII（BODY SPECIAL）」といった往年のヒット曲から『葡萄』収録曲まで、新旧にわたり全36 曲を披露。公演時間は3時間半にも及んだ。

ライヴの中心となっているのはもちろん、『葡萄』の収録曲。JTB CMソングとしてもオンエア中のロマンチックなポップチューン「はっぴいえんど」や、すでに名バラードとの呼び声が高い「平和の鐘が鳴る」では、曲中で自然にさざ波のような温かい拍手が沸き起こり、「東京VICTORY」では会場の50,000人全員が一体となって拳を振り上げ、「アロエ」ではステージに多数登場するアロエをあしらった衣装をまとったダンサーとともに客席全体がダンスフロアーと化す。また、原由子がメインヴォーカルを取る「ワイングラスに消えた恋」では、原が普段のキーボードの位置から離れ、ステージ中央に立ち、ダンサーを従えて歌い上げた。歌謡ショーさながらのそのパフォーマンスに観客は大いに盛り上がる。まさに『葡萄』のキャッチコピーどおり、“大衆音楽の粋”が凝縮した一大エンタテインメントが繰り広げられた。

絶好調のサザンの全国ツアー「おいしい葡萄の旅」は、追加公演も含め、全11ヵ所23公演。合計で50万人以上を動員する予定で、8月 17日（月）、18日（火）の日本武道館まで続く。
