OBLIVION DUST、20周年を締めくくる、ツアーファイナル発表

12月9日（土）のHEAVEN'S ROCK宇都宮を皮切りに、来年2月まで20本のツアーを敢行するOBLIVION DUST。“2月東京”とのみ発表されていたファイナル公演の詳細が解禁となった。20周年イヤーを締めくくるファイナル公演は、2018年 2月9日（金）にマイナビBLITZ赤坂（赤坂BLITZ）。OBLIVION DUSTのツアーファイナルを幾度となく行っている会場なので、思い入れのあるファンも多いだろう。

1996年結成、翌年1997年デビュー。2001年に解散し、2007年に再結成。2011年からは毎年ツアーを実施しており、OBLIVION DUSTといえばライヴのイメージも強いが、デビュー20年にして自身最長となる今回のツアー。K.A.Z（Gt）は「デビュー20年という節目に、まだやっていない形でのライブをやりたくて。20周年にふさわしい20本っていう数になったんです」と今ツアーを語る。

また、デビューしてすぐに海外でツアーを行っている彼ら。海外公演を行う事が今より遥かに難しいご時世に海外ツアーを行い、今になって国内で初めて20本のツアーを行う事に関して、KEN LLOYD（Vo）は「それがこのバンドっぽいなとも思うし。だからまあ、動き方がヘタなんでしょうね（笑）。でも不思議だからこそ、日本の音楽業界で20年後もユニークな存在でいられたのかなと思う」とコメント。

また、K.A.Zが「バンドの代表曲と言えるものは全部やるくらいの感じで考えている」と語っていた今ツアー。ファイナルの東京公演まで、予想を超える狂乱が生まれるであろうツアーは間もなくスタートする。
