エレファントカシマシ、25年連続となる野音公演を開催

10月19日（日）、1990年の開催から数えて25年連続となるエレファントカシマシの「日比谷野外大音楽堂 2014」が開催された。

デビューから27年目に突入した不動の男たち4人のメンバーに、今年はお馴染みの盟友たちやサポートギタリストにヒラマミキオ、スペシャルゲストキーボディストには蔦谷好位置を迎えた編成で臨んだ25年連続開催のエレカシの野音。

宮本の「今年も野音出来て嬉しいです！　イェーイ！！」の言葉とともに、何と21年ぶりとなる「浮世の姿」や、壮大な大作である「東京の空」など希少性の高い曲の数々、代表曲から最新曲まで、全34曲3時間、圧巻のパフォーマンスを披露してくれた。野音ならではのセットリストで臨んだステージ。会場を埋め尽くしたファンはもちろんのことチケットを手に出来なかった「野音外聴き」をしている多くのファンまでも今この瞬間にしか成し得ない熱烈パフォーマンスでファンを魅了した。

一昨年の宮本浩次の耳の病気から、昨年秋の野音で大復活後、充実のシングルリリース、さいたまスーパーアリーナ単独公演の成功、そして数々の夏フェス出演、約2年3ヶ月ぶり充実の全国ツアーと、その勢いはとどいまることを知らない。

2015年のお正月、1月3日・4日に日本武道館2Days新春公演が決定している。また最新情報として、残念ながら台風19号の影響により延期となっていたZepp Namba 振替公演（10月30日）のキャンセル分チケットの発売が10月21日（火）AM10:00から各プレイガイドで発売されること、そして、今年の12月にゆかりのあるライブハウスである水戸ライトハウスと下北沢CLUB Queにて各ライブハウスの周年を祝う公演が決定したことが発表された。どちらも貴重な公演になる事間違いなしなので、ファンの方は是非とも会場に足を運んで頂きたい。
