PENICILLINとクマムシによるKUMACILLINが話題の楽曲＆「ロマンス」を生披露

お笑い芸人のクマムシが10月3日、恵比寿 LIQUIDROOMで行われたPENICILLINの「千聖 BIRTHDAY LIVE “ROCK×ROCK11(イイ)ライブ”」に飛び入り参加した。

「もしヴィジュアル系バンドだったら」という設定で作られたクマムシの新曲「Could you tell me...」。そのMVにPENICILLINの千聖（G）とO-JIRO（Dr）が出演し、MV限定でPENICILLINとクマムシによる“KUMACILLIN”という架空のバンドが誕生したこともあり、KUMACILLINのバンドメンバーでもある千聖の誕生日を祝うべく駆け付けた。

クマムシの2人はライヴのアンコールから登場。千聖プロデュースのヴィジュアル系メーク＆衣装に身を包んだパンチのある見た目に、満員のPENICILLINファンから笑いが巻き起こる。クマムシ長谷川扮するボーカルの鬼切丸司（おにぎりまるつかさ）は、「何が面白いんですか…」と、あくまでクールなカリスマボーカリストのキャラクターを崩さない。

一方、クマムシ佐藤扮するベース、鬼切丸さと子は場内から「かわいい！」という声が多数上がるほど女装が板についている。ドラムのO-JIROに何度もスカートの中を見せ、セクシー（？）に挑発する姿も。

「Could you tell me the way to the library ？」と図書館までの道を延々と訪ね続ける不思議な歌詞が魅力の「Could you tell me...」を披露すると、芸人離れした長谷川の歌唱力に会場は大盛り上がり。もちろん佐藤は弾けもしないベースを持ちながら、会場をさらに盛り上げる。

さらに、長谷川が千聖のために作ったという、「あったかいんだからぁ♪」バースデーバージョンも披露。会場のファンとともに千聖へ“おめでたいんだからぁ♪”とメッセージを捧げた。長谷川に煽られたHAKUEIも“あったかいんだからぁ♪”を披露し、会場が和やかなムードに包まれた。

サプライズはそれだけでなく、長谷川とHAKUEIのダブルボーカルで大ヒット曲「ロマンス」が披露された。「ロマンス」はクマムシ長谷川のカラオケ十八番ということもあり、PENICILLINファンにも受け入れられるパフォーマンスとなった。

ステージ前は2人にとってアウェイとなる環境に多少の不安を感じていたクマムシの2人だったが、PENICILLINのメンバーやファンに“あったか”く迎えられ、特別な一夜となった。
