SCHAFT、早くも5月に新作2タイトル同時リリース！

「TOUR ULTRA -The Loud Engine-」が大盛況のうちに幕を閉じたSCHAFTが、ツアー終了後休む間もなく、ライヴで演奏されて話題になっていた未発表曲2曲を新たにレコーディング。それに8曲のライヴ音源を加えた『Deeper and Down』（SHM-CD＋DVD）、そしてライヴ映像作品『ARCHIVES 2016 TOUR ULTRA～The Loud Engine～』（Blu-ray＆DVD）の2タイトルを5月25日に同時リリースすることがわかった。

『Deeper and Down』に収録された2曲は、ツアーのアンコールを熱狂させた新曲「Deeper and Down」と「H.N.A」。どちらも今井寿の楽曲を藤井麻輝がアレンジしたもので、アルバム『ULTRA』のレコーディングやライヴにも参加したメンバーでレコーディングされている。加えてその2曲のライヴ音源と、“2016年のSCHAFT”によりツアーで披露された、20年前の1stアルバム『SWITCHBLADE』収録曲のライヴ音源を6曲収録した、全10トラック。DVDでは、「Deeper and Down」のライヴMVが楽しめる。レコーディング＆ライヴミュージシャンは、今井寿（BUCK-TICK）、藤井麻輝（minus（-）、睡蓮）、YOW-ROW（GARI）、上田剛士（AA=）、yukihiro（L'Arc～en～Ciel）。

同時リリースとなるBlu-ray＆DVD『ARCHIVES 2016 TOUR ULTRA～The Loud Engine～』は、21年ぶりとなったSCHAFTセカンドツアー「TOUR ULTRA -The Loud Engine-」より、2016年1月28日のEX THEATER ROPPONGIにおけるライヴの模様を収録。最新アルバム『ULTRA』収録曲全曲に加え、1994年のアルバム曲や未発表新曲も披露した、SCHAFTの現在、過去、未来をすべて魅せ尽くした本ツアーのベストアクトとも言える公演が映像で堪能できる。
